Kerbside privacy policy

The short version

Kerbside keeps your parcels on your phone and in your own private iCloud. We run no accounts, we do not sell data, and we do not run ads.

What stays on your phone

Your parcel list, mailbox settings and passwords. Mailbox passwords are kept in the iOS Keychain on your device and are never synced or sent to us. Email and Amazon orders are read directly on your phone.

What can leave your phone, only if you turn it on

• Web sync (Kerbside Plus). An encrypted copy of your parcel list is stored on our server. The key is made from your sync code and never leaves your devices, so we cannot read it.
• Email reminders (Kerbside Plus). To send a reminder email, our server is given your email address, the name of each parcel, the time, and a parcel reference used to build the link back into the app. Sent and expired reminders are deleted.
• Forwarding inbox (Kerbside Plus). Emails you forward are sealed to a key held on your phone and deleted from our server once your phone collects them.
• Live tracking. If you choose a relay or 17TRACK, tracking numbers are sent to that service only.
• Anonymous analytics. Optional. Counts app opens and feature use with a random ID, using Google Analytics. Never parcels, emails or tracking numbers. You can turn it off in Settings.

Kerbside Plus subscription

Kerbside Plus is an auto renewing monthly subscription sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment. We never see your Apple ID, card or billing details. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Your choices

Turning off web sync deletes the server copy. You can delete any parcel, remove a mailbox, or delete the app at any time. Your iCloud data is under your Apple account.
